Mimosaroot.com’s Mimosa Hostilis is grounded by ourselves and we know exactly what enters the mill and exits it. By removing the filler fibbers the final product becomes 30% more concentrated. Thus, our product is in fact 130% purer inner root bark comparing to many other sources.
Our Mexican Mimosa Hostilis inner root bark is sourced from a group of indigenous farmers in the region of Oaxaca. They have a lot of experience with selecting the right trees and the proper harvesting grounds. The type of ground plays a big role in the final quality of the bark. Mimosaroot.com has set up a quality control system to make sure only the best bark is reaching our costumers! We truly believe that we have the highest quality product on the market.
Mimosaroot.com takes great care that the farmers use sustainable harvesting techniques. Harvest is done in such a way that the M. Tenuiflora tree lives further to produce new roots for the future. Our beloved farmers also make sure that no chemical pesticides are being used at any stage.
After the harvest the Mimosa root bark gets carefully cleaned to remove big pieces of outer bark so that only the inner bark remains. After that the Mimosa Hostilis root bark is set to dry in the Oaxaca sun for approximately two weeks.
We then carefully mill it and pack it before it arrives at your mailbox in the USA, UK or wherever you want it to arrive in the world (make sure to visit our shipping FAQ for more info and check if your country is on the list).

General shipping information
Brazilianbotanicals.com does not ship to all addresses around the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. (during checkout you can check if your country is available)
Orders placed on Friday after 3:00 p.m. GMT +2 or over the weekend will begin processing on the following Monday or next working day.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. We have optimised some weight options which basically allows you to order the maximum amount of product for the shipping category.
The shipping categories are as follows:
S: 0-500g
M: 500g-1000g
L: 1000g-2000g
Anything higher in weight will be spilt up in different packages.
We understand that when you make an order, you want your order as quickly as possible and we will do our best to make that happen! Most of the items we sell will be shipped quickly and be at your door fast.
We work hard to make sure items we sell are available for quick fulfilment and shipment, naturally not all items will be in stock at all times! If a product is out of stock a notification is shown on the website with the approximate date when back in stock. In some cases we will split the order and ship each package out to you individually and in other cases we may need to consolidate the items in one location to ship out as one package. We utilise our best judgement in an attempt to get the products to you as quickly as possible.
A shipping confirmation email including carrier specific tracking information will typically be sent within 12 hours after making your order during business days. If you don’t see an email, please check your SPAM folder before you contact us. Many times because it is a business sending the email they are tagged as ‘SPAM’ and filed accordingly by your email server.
USPS will attempt to deliver a package up to 2-3 times, after a failed third attempt, the package will be re-routed back to our warehouse in EU and a refund will be issued to the original form of payment less shipping costs and the item will be returned to stock. If you would still like this item, you will need to reorder the item again.
Shipments within Holland
Shipments within Holland are shipped with PostNL or DPD, products bellow 1.5 kilos are shipped by mailbox package (automatically selected during checkout).
